She enjoys helping students achieve their maximum potential and puts an emphasis on healthy instrumental technique. Katie is a registered Suzuki teacher and specializes in early childhood education and pedagogy. She welcomes students ages 3 to adult and offers 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons, as well as Integration Lessons. She is a professional pianist, violist and accompanist, and an adjunct professor of music at Elgin Community College. Katie has a Master's degree in violin education and a Bachelor's degree in violin performance. She enjoys playing chamber music with her husband Dan and her friends in the Koi Quartet in her free time. |
